Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The location was excellent for visiting the national parks, and the snowy setting was beautiful, making for a memorable adventure. However, the long walk to the rooms was a hassle, especially in the dark, and the noise from adjacent rooms was quite bothersome. The service was a bit hit or miss; while some staff were apologetic and helpful, others fell short of expectations. Overall, I enjoyed my experience, but there were definitely areas for improvement.
This lodge is the only year-round accommodation within the park, making it a convenient choice for visitors. The rooms are spacious and clean, although some updates would enhance their appeal. Dining at the main lodge was hit or miss, with fantastic dinners but disappointing breakfasts. Overall, it’s a solid option for those looking to explore Sequoia National Park without needing to travel far for meals.
I had a wonderful time at Wuksachi Lodge, which is beautifully situated within Sequoia National Park. The location is a major draw, with quick access to trails and breathtaking scenery all around. The rooms were clean but fairly basic, lacking some modern amenities like air conditioning. Service was generally good, though some staff seemed a bit overwhelmed during busy times. Overall, it's a perfect getaway for those looking to immerse themselves in nature while enjoying the cozy lodge experience.
My experience at the hotel was quite mixed. While the staff was friendly and helpful, and the rooms were neat and clean, I found the lack of air conditioning and some dated aspects to be less than ideal. The location is stunning and perfect for exploring the nearby sights, but I was disappointed by some cleanliness issues in my room. It's decent value for money if you manage your expectations.
The hotel has stunning views and spacious, comfortable rooms. While my experience with the check-in process and dining was frustrating, the staff were generally pleasant and helpful. The restaurant organization was lacking, and the room amenities could be improved for the price, given there were no glass cups for drinks. Overall, I'd say it's a charming place, but not ideal for the cost based on my experience.
